I have made a poll for you to speak your mind on Google Art Project. You will see it by scrolling down on the right of this blog.
It gives you 4 different options:
Google Art Project and the Museum Experience:
- An experiment that still need to be pefected
- An experience that creates a whole new level of art appreciation
- A definite technical accomplishment, yet will never match physical connection
- A true complement to the physical visit to further appreciation of art
Let us know what you think: for which audience will GAP be a hit according to you? Do you flinch when you see the level of detail on your favourite paintings? What functionality is the most useful/has the most future for you?
The floor is yours.
As a graduate student (with a tight budget), I love the Google Art Project. It's great for class discussions--when someone references a specific object or museum.

Now this is the type of experiential marketing that I'm talking about. I hope you win this contest!

This is a perfect model of social connections in popularity vote that's reflective of people's insights- something that marketers could learn from.
